The final service of worship was held on Sunday 6th November. This was very well received with 75 people in attendance. Three priests, Tim Fletcher, Neil Thompson, and John Davies spoke about their term as rector at Toora. Several people including Toora Warden, Rachel
Brown, added reminiscences tinged with sadness. The service was recorded and is online at the parish website.
On Thursday 10th November Bishop Richard conducted a small but poignant service of deconsecration, ending the buildings 130 years as a worship centre in Toora.
