The Toora Op Shop is located in the St Thomas Outreach Centre at 50 Stanley St and is run by a dedicated group of volunteers on behalf of the Corner Inlet Anglican Parish. It is full of treasures and bargains. Make sure you give yourself some time when visiting as it is definitely your old fashioned type of op shop where you have to forage and hunt out the bargains. The Op Shop is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, usually 10am to 2pm but sometimes longer if business is brisk. The money raised at the Op Shop is used by the Anglican Church for local christian mission projects and also recently donated $1000 to the Toora CFA, $1000 to the Foster CFA, $2000 to Anglicare and $2000 to charitybackpackbed.org which is an Australian charity that provides portable swags to our homeless communities. The Op Shop volunteers are very proud of this contribution to local organisations and worthwhile charities and look forward to seeing you soon.
